Woollen throws

We met Hugh Jones who operates the Knockando Woolmill on Speyside a couple of years ago and were so inspired by his work that as soon as we'd set up St. Jude’s we knew we'd have to work with him at some point.

The Mill is mainland Scotland's last surviving small district spinning and weaving mill and was a finalist in the BBC's Restoration series in 2004.

We worked with Hugh to design some woollen throws which were produced at the Mill. They have now been sold.

The Mill has now closed for a major restoration which will guarantee its future and we look forward to working with Hugh again as soon as the Mill re-opens.
