Woollen throws

We met Hugh Jones who operates the Knockando Woolmill on Speyside a couple of years ago and were so inspired by his work that as soon as we'd set up St. Jude’s we knew we'd have to work with him at some point.

The Mill is mainland Scotland's last surviving small district spinning and weaving mill and was a finalist in the BBC's Restoration series in 2004.

We've worked with Hugh to design these woollen throws which are produced at the Mill.

Woven with 100% wool, the finishing has been kept to a minimum, so the throws have a certain 'sturdiness' that you just don't get on their cheaper, 'fluffier' counterparts. They're fringed at both ends and are perfect for use on a bed, chair, or small sofa.

The throws measure 54" x 72" and are available in 3 colours - green, purple and grey. Each costs £75.00 plus postage.
